Cookies and privacy

What is stored in your browser, why, and how to change it at any time.

In short

We do not need to store anything to make the website work. We load traffic analytics and the Google map only once you allow it. Until you decide, nothing is loaded – and rejecting is just as easy as allowing.

What is stored

Essential

The only thing we store without asking is your cookie choice. It is kept in your browser storage under the name kohler-cookies together with the date you made it, so that we do not ask on every visit and so that it can be shown what you agreed to. It stays on your computer, is not sent anywhere, and is removed when you clear your browser data.

Analytics – only with your consent

Google Analytics (GA4) tells us how many people visit the website and which pages they read. We do not use it for advertising and we send a shortened IP address.

Until you give consent, the analytics script is not loaded at all – so Google does not learn about your visit.

Maps and embedded content – only with your consent

On the Contact page there is a Google map. When it is displayed, Google stores its own cookies (e.g. NID) and sees your IP address. Without your consent the map is not loaded and we offer a link to Google Maps instead.

How to change or withdraw your consent

  • With the Change cookie settings button above, or with the Cookie settings link in the footer.
  • When you withdraw consent we delete the analytics cookies and reload the page without analytics.
  • You can also delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.

Withdrawal applies going forward – it does not affect what was measured earlier.
